Ace of Pentacles

The ace of pentacles has a lot of similarities to the other ace cards, in that it’s a fresh start, a gift and a yes from the universe. That being said it is also very different than the other ace cards… let’s see why

We see a shining hand coming out of a cloud that has appeared out of thin air. In the hand is a gold coin with a five pointed star, and this hand seems to be offering up this coin to the receiver. A gift without expecting something in return, is what comes to my mind. The five pointed star represents the 4 elements and spirit, as well as magic. One could imagine this is a magic coin, granting the receiver material wealth and physical blessings of abundance. In the background we see a garden full of flowering lily plants and a garden wall made of rose bushes, also in bloom. The roses signify love and earthly pleasure, while the lily’s signify spiritual blessings, both flowers present to show this garden has everything that’s needed within it. There is also a path leading out of the garden with large snow covered mountains in the distance. This presents a challenge… do you stay in the safe and concealed space of the garden? Or do you take this gift and venture beyond the garden walls to see what you can accomplish in this life?

The ace of pentacles presents us with a new opportunity, and a gift of abundance and material blessing to accompany us on our journey.

Receiving this card in a reading is, like all other ace cards, as I like to say, a big fat fucking yes from the universe. It can signify a new venture coming into your life, one that will be prosperous and lucrative. It can also be a sign to take that chance you’ve been wanting to take, knowing you will be supported as you do. Regardless of how it shows up in a reading, know it is a beneficial sign, showing a way ahead.
