Two of Disks
The two of disks is a card that draws the readers and the receivers attentions. There is quite a bit happening in the fore ground and in the background… let’s take a look
We see what looks like a young performer juggling two disks, though his tunic seems a bit tattered on the hem line and his elongated hat seems quite comical in shape and wear. Is this person a court jester type? Or a circus performer? Regardless of their place, they are definitely juggling what is in front of them, and they seem to be losing their balance, as they are hyper fixated on keeping the two disks a flight. This person is clearly performing a balancing act that has them stumbling to keep up. Since it is a disk card we know it has to do with something material, perhaps finances and/or sources of income. This person is either robbing Peter to pay Paul, or they could be balancing two sources of income. No juggling act can last forever, but this balancing act has the blessing of an infinity symbol swirling around the two disks, showing us that there is a universal force helping this person keep the act together just a little longer. In the background, we see two ships sailing on what appear to be very unstable and violent waters, further suggesting that a balancing act is not only tumultuous but can only last for so long as the waters will become clear again.
Receiving this card in a reading can quite literally tell us that weve been balancing more than we can handle, for a long period of time. While we may be successfully balancing everything in the current moment, and may even have some universal support, we may need to make a decision or try to find a way to come up with a more sustainable approach that can not only serve our needs but perhaps allow us to de stress and set the damn disks down, even if for a second. It’s a card that can support your decision to choose two career paths or two ways of making profit, and at the same time, it also tells you one may be more profitable than the other, or it just may be time to merge and unite the polarities for the sake of yourself.
