Three of Disks

Image
Three of disks is a card that to me took a little bit to get clear on. Intuitively it feels a bit different than the traditional meaning suggests.  Here we see an archway with three people standing under it and facing one another, in a sort of triangle configuration. Each person is dressed differently and they are clearly having a conversation. We see someone crafting part of the archway, staring on a bench or possibly scaffolding, then we see someone with blue prints, as well as a friar who clearly resides in the church where the arch is being crafted. Clearly, these three people are working together for a specific outcome, one that benefits them all. The 3 pentacles present in the archway signify monetary gain from group work, while the rise in the upside down triangle beneath them, represents the creativity of the divine feminine. Additionally, both the architect holding the blueprints, and the craftsperson are wearing yellow which symbolizes creativity. This suggests that...

Two of Disks

Image
The two of disks is a card that draws the readers and the receivers attentions. There is quite a bit happening in the fore ground and in the background… let’s take a look We see what looks like a young performer juggling two disks, though his tunic seems a bit tattered on the hem line and his elongated hat seems quite comical in shape and wear. Is this person a court jester type? Or a circus performer? Regardless of their place, they are definitely juggling what is in front of them, and they seem to be losing their balance, as they are hyper fixated on keeping the two disks a flight. This person is clearly performing a balancing act that has them stumbling to keep up. Since it is a disk card we know it has to do with something material, perhaps finances and/or sources of income. This person is either robbing Peter to pay Paul, or they could be balancing two sources of income. No juggling act can last forever, but this balancing act has the blessing of an infinity symbol swirling a...

Ace of Pentacles

Image
The ace of pentacles has a lot of similarities to the other ace cards, in that it’s a fresh start, a gift and a yes from the universe. That being said it is also very different than the other ace cards… let’s see why  We see a shining hand coming out of a cloud that has appeared out of thin air. In the hand is a gold coin with a five pointed star, and this hand seems to be offering up this coin to the receiver. A gift without expecting something in return, is what comes to my mind. The five pointed star represents the 4 elements and spirit, as well as magic. One could imagine this is a magic coin, granting the receiver material wealth and physical blessings of abundance. In the background we see a garden full of flowering lily plants and a garden wall made of rose bushes, also in bloom. The roses signify love and earthly pleasure, while the lily’s signify spiritual blessings, both flowers present to show this garden has everything that’s needed within it. There is also a path...

King of Cups

Image
The king of cups is a king like no other. In this day and age and hell for many centuries, men have not been known for their ability to process, express, and accept emotions in a healthy manner. That is not the case for this king… Here we see a well dressed king sitting on a throne, placed on a stone slab in the middle of the ocean. This shows us he is able to be in his emotions, feel his emotions and at the same time understand that he is wise to let them pass without gripping them too tightly. He understands that emotions, like the tides, come and go and while it is wise to acknowledge them, it is more important to avoid letting them run the show. He has made peace with his emotions and is confident enough to ride them without letting them drown him. Both his throne and his scepter are decorated with lotus flowers, showing us he has reached spiritual enlightenment, and that he is ruling from a place of revolved spirituality. His clothing is blue showing the depths of intuition a...
